Behind the glory of the podium lies a sobering truth: countless U.S. Olympians and Olympic hopefuls, despite years of sacrifice and world-class performance, face financial hardship, burnout, and uncertainty about their future. Many juggle multiple jobs just to train. When the competition ends, too often so does their stability with no safety net, no defined career pathway, and, in some cases, no secure place to call home. The very athletes who inspire our nation on the world stage are too often left without the enduring support their service and sacrifice deserve.
